How do we end long-term homelessness?

16 June 2016

Over 105,000 people are experiencing homelessness in Australia.

We estimate that around 22,000 people across the country are trapped in a cycle of long-term homelessness.

We want to politicians to set clear targets for ending long-term homelessness across Australia. Supporting people to exit long-term homelessness is not only the right thing to do, it’s also the smart thing to do - it saves money for both the community and government.

Check out our plan at the link below for more details on how we want to support people across Australia to exit long-term homelessness.

Sacred Heart Mission believes that the diversity of abilities, genders, sexualities, relationship identities, bodies and cultures in our community enriches us all and should be celebrated. Everyone is welcome at our table.
