Op shop volunteers - East St Kilda

We are looking for passionate retail enthusiast who wants to join our East St Kilda Store on a Sunday or Monday

Sacred Heart Mission is a local Melbourne charity focused on elevating disadvantage, social exclusion, and homelessness. Volunteering in our Op Shops is absolutely crucial to the rest of the Mission as they provide the funding that allows our other services to run. 

We are currently looking for 1-2 more volunteers on a Thursday to help out for half a day on a weekly or fortnightly roster. Are you passionate about fashion and are an expert in multitasking in a retail environment? Then come join the team at our small East St Kilda store. This little corner shop offers the local community a place to come in and browse and find a bargain. Be part of the team to help achieve our daily targets and make a difference in our client's lives by providing much needed funding for the client services programs. 

Responsibilities:

Help provide a welcoming atmosphere, make the store look presentable, work the till provide fantastic customer service, and be part of a wonderful op shop team. And most importantly have fun!! 

Commitment:

A half/full day weekly or fortnightly - Thursdays

Other:

Ideally we would like 4 hrs (10-2pm or 1-5pm) but that can be negotiated on a case by case basis.
