The Sacred Heart Mission Wellness Place provides complementary therapies for people who are experiencing homelessness or disadvantage and reside in the City of Port Phillip.

The Wellness Place is located at 87 Grey Street, St Kilda. Open weekdays, it offers a range of complementary therapies in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it one of our most popular services. Our therapists are qualified practitioners who volunteer their services at our clinic. We are also fortunate to have the support of a warm and welcoming team of volunteer receptionists.

The types of services and therapies available* include:

  • Physiotherapy, myotherapy
  • Podiatry, orthotics
  • Nutrition
  • Group acupuncture
  • Optometry.

*subject to the availability of practitioners.

Appointments are required and can be arranged over the telephone or in person at the clinic. Consultations are available Monday to Friday (times vary). Because we receive a small amount of government or other funding, we ask for a client contribution of $4. Due to the high demand for services there are eligibility criteria to help us prioritise appointments. The clinic is fortunate to have the support of a reliable and welcoming team of volunteer receptionists.
