Sacred Heart Mission aims to provide services that actively promote diversity through our Diversity Plan and Working Groups. We consider the diversity among our staff and volunteers to be an asset offering strengths and capabilities which greatly support the delivery of our services. We will continue to work in partnership with the community and organisations to develop innovative actions to improve the responsiveness and inclusiveness of our spaces and services. Our guidelines, policies, procedures and practice aim to ensure equality and participation, regardless of gender identity, age, ethnicity, cultural background, disability, religion, and/or sexual orientation.

Sacred Heart Mission has impressive “green” credentials as a major local recycler and a major partner in Melbourne’s food rescue industry.

Sacred Heart Mission respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate our services. We pay our respects to the ongoing living cultures of Aboriginal peoples, and to Elders past, present and future.
