Penny Anderson

Penny has over 25 years as a senior executive in the Victorian health, community, welfare, acute, public health, private sectors and State government departments, including CEO of Your Community Health.

Penny is a values-driven leader with a strong commitment to social justice and reducing health inequity for people with the greatest need. Her expertise spans corporate and clinical governance, strategic planning, service and system design, organisational development and change leadership, as well as quality and safety improvement.

She is currently an Austin Health Board Clinical Safety and Quality Committee consumer member, Royal Freemason Board Quality and Safety Committee member, and a Melbourne Women’s Foundation Board member. She has previously served on Greatest Good Advisory Board (social enterprise) and Entertainment Assist Board.

Her qualifications include Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Masters in Public Policy and Management; Bachelor of Arts (Politics, Asian Studies and Development Studies); and Diploma of Applied Science (Nursing).
