Step into a little world of rock ’n’ roll at Sacred Heart Mission’s flagship St Kilda op shop, where we’re bringing together a year’s worth of collecting, curating and hunting for some seriously good music and vintage finds.
For the first time ever, the store is hosting Grand Vinyl Day — a celebration of music, fashion and all things rock ’n’ roll. Whether you’re a dedicated vinyl collector, an old-school music lover, a vintage fashion fan or simply someone who loves the thrill of finding something unexpected, there’ll be plenty to discover.
The store has been collecting vinylrecords, CDs, music books, band T-shirts, instruments and hi-fi equipment, alongside a curated selection of designer clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Expect everything from well-loved classics to rare and collectible pieces, with plenty of treasures waiting to be uncovered.
Adding to the atmosphere, live RRR DJs will be spinning records in-store, creating the perfect soundtrack for a day of browsing, digging and discovering.
It’s part record fair, part op shop treasure hunt and entirely rock ’n’ roll — with the added bonus that every purchase helps support the work of Sacred Heart Mission, supporting people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Come down, have a dig, discover something unexpected and soak up the St Kilda rock ’n’ roll spirit!
