At Sacred Heart Mission, we welcome and accept people as they are. We recognise that everyone’s journey is unique and we work to provide people with support that is effective and carefully tailored to their individual needs.

  • To speak directly with a housing and support worker in Victoria, call 1800 825 955 (24 hours, free call)

Support services in St Kilda

  • Launch Housing, 122 Chapel Street, St Kilda 3182
    Open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. We recommend you come earlier in the day if possible.
  • For after hours and weekends: Salvation Army Crisis Service, 29 Grey Street, St Kilda 3182 
    Drop in or call 1800 627 727 (free call).
  • Victorian statewide number: 1800 825 955 (24 hours, free call)
    Speak with a housing worker and be referred to services and support in your local area.
  • The Salvation Army Crisis Centre: 1800 627 727 (free call) or (03) 9536 7777 (24 hours)
  • Rainbow Door is a free support service for all LGBTIQA+ people in Victoria, their friends, family and peers.
  • Switchboard provides peer-driven support services for LGBTIQA+ people, their families, allies and communities in Victoria.
  • QLife offers anonymous and free LGBTIQA+ peer support and referral for people in Australia wanting to talk about sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships. Call 1800 184 527 for support.
  • LGBTIQ Legal Service provides free help for LGBTIQA+ people in Victoria with their legal problems.
  • Victoria Police LGBTIQ liaison officers provide a contact point for LGBTIQA+ community members.
  • Child First provide children, young people and families easier access to the services they need.
