Op shop donations

Donate goods, furniture, books, food and more

Two elderly op shop volunteers standing next to a clothing rack ready to serve shoppers

We welcome donations of good quality clothing and accessories, bric-a-brac, furniture, homewares, kitchenware, books and other media. Every shop accepts donations during opening hours.

For our op shops to continue supporting the work of the Mission, we need donated quality goods to sell at the op shops and for customers to buy them.

We are unable to accept the following items for legal reasons, because there is no customer demand or, in some shops, for space reasons:

  • Mattresses
  • Baby cots, car seats, nursery furniture
  • Analog TVs and TV units
  • Large desks
  • Text books, encyclopedias
  • Printers, scanners
  • Curtains, blinds, coat hangers

Please don’t leave your donations out the front or back of our shops outside opening hours – we want to be able to welcome and thank you for your donation. They may also get weather-damaged or not be there in the morning when staff arrive to open the shop. Please see our locations page for locations and store hours.

Your generous donation will help us to support people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage and we thank you for choosing to support Sacred Heart Mission.

Donate direct to our op shops

Simply drop your pre-loved donations of furniture, books, clothes and more off at one of our op shops during opening hours
