Students roll up their sleeves to raise $500 for Sacred Heart Mission

For seven weeks, Year 12 students at Dandenong High School rolled up their sleeves and washed staff cars, raising an incredible $500 for Sacred Heart Mission and people experiencing homelessness.

The fundraiser was completely student-led, with the students choosing an organisation to support and coming up with a way to raise the funds.

Their efforts are a wonderful reminder that making a difference in your community can start with a simple idea and a willingness to get involved.

We were thrilled to receive a personalised novelty cheque from the students, which now hangs on our office wall as a reminder of of their generosity and the difference young people can make.
