Big 80s hits, a packed room and a great cause. Absolutely 80s Supergroup recently brought the party to The Esplanade in St Kilda for a special fundraising concert supporting Sacred Heart Mission.
Celebrating 20 years of touring Australia, the Supergroup features Scott Carne (Kids in the Kitchen), Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera) and Ally Fowler (Chantoozies), performing some of Australia’s biggest rock classics, including hits from INXS, Mondo Rock, Divinyls and Crowded House.

But the night wasn’t just about great tunes. With strong ties to St Kilda, Absolutely 80s was keen to give back to the local community, donating ticket proceeds to support people experiencing homelessness through Sacred Heart Mission.
Our team got to be part of the fun, too! From joining Scott on a recent Joy FM segment to running the merch desk on the night, we loved connecting with everyone who came along. Hundreds of raffle tickets were sold, with plenty of heart-warming conversations, familiar faces, and new connections made along the way.

A huge thank you to Scott Carne for giving so much of his time and energy to advocating for people experiencing homelessness, and to everyone who attended, bought a raffle ticket, or just dropped by for a chat. Your support helped raise $1000 for our services.
Events like this show that fundraising can take many forms. It can start with something you love, like music, art, sport or simply just bringing people together. Sharing that passion with your community can help make a real impact in the lives of people who need it most.
Have an idea for a fundraiser? We’d love to hear it! Find out how you can support Sacred Heart Mission and help make a difference in our community.
