Bite into a burger this International Burger Day and help us raise funds for our Dining Hall in St Kilda.
Sacred Heart Mission is excited to welcome the National Indigenous Culinary Institute to our Dining Hall in St Kilda/Euroe Yroke. The institute, established in 2012, locates and trains the next generation of culinary leaders. NICI is now the leading Indigenous Chef training program in Australia.

Roll up your sleeves and put your chefs hat on as you learn to cook traditional meals with native ingredients from two established Indigenous chefs, Sam May and Krystie Sabitino.

On the menu

  • Wallaby Ragu with handmade Pasta with Saltbush and Pepper Berry
  • Warrugul Greens with Macadamia Pesto, a vegetarian and vegan option

  • Macadamia Chocolate Tort with Rivermint and White Chocolate Mousse
  • or Coconut Cake as a vegan or vegetarian option

Our intimate classes will be held in our St Kilda Dining Hall where we serve up to 400 meals daily to people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

A great opportunity to learn how to cook delicious Indigenous cuisine in a setting where you can see directly where your contributions go towards.
