A simple meal is the first step in improving people’s lives and everyone is welcome at our table. For 35 years our Dining Hall has been, and remains, at our heart. Today it is one of the many ways we connect people who are the most vulnerable in our community to a range of services that offer them the opportunity and support to live stable and fulfilling lives.
But we need your help. This year we’re aiming to raise over $150,000 to give people in need the chance to access the vital support services we provide. Your generosity helps us make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Helping someone in need to access a free and nutritious meal is easy and affordable. For as little as $4 you’re providing someone in need with a hot meal and connecting them to long term support and assistance.
Here’s how you can help:
If you love food and eating out then visit a participating café, restaurant or bar during May and help support our Meals Program that provides 400 free, hot and nutritious meals each day to people who are experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Check out our calendar to find out what’s on during May.
Dine with Heart at work, home or school is a fun way to support our campaign and there are a number of ways you can get involved. Register to host your own Dine With Heart event anytime during May.
Even if you can’t get involved this year, you can still help out by making a donation.

"DINE WITH HEART is all about creating an event that gives back to those most in need. It highlights the cost of feeding those who are homeless and the important role Sacred Heart Mission plays in our local community”
