Our Fitzroy store, well known for its eccentric interior and community focus, hosts a first of its kind event: ‘Sacred Art’ – an original art gallery exhibition sale.
Having collected original art generously donated to the store for the past year, the store unveils a fantastic display of modern, classic, abstract and street art with accessible price tags.
The store will transform into a modern gallery on Friday 17 November and will open to the public for some late-night op shopping and gallery perusing.
Fitzroy Store Coordinator, Damian Brady has built a strong community connection with the Fitzroy community and is excited to showcase the huge range of art on offer. “We’re so lucky to receive such incredible original art donations. We’re so happy that we can rehome these beautiful one-off pieces and are hoping to raise important funds for Sacred Heart Mission and our services for people experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage.”
This is a free event. No holds prior to or during the sale. Every $5 spent at a Sacred Heart Mission’s Op Shops funds a nutritious meal for a person experiencing homelessness.
