- The opportunity to practice what you have learned in an appropriate, real-life setting
- Support from our Student Placement Officer and be part of our student leaning unit
- Access to experienced staff who are willing to share their wisdom.
We give our students comprehensive orientation, supervision, and a safe working environment.

Student group model
Designed as a Student Group Model, our Placement Program hosts groups of up to 10 students at a time. The students are placed in programs across Sacred Heart Mission and participate in weekly training and supervision, which are essential for the success of the student experience. Hosting students in groups encourages peer learning and support, creates space for reflective practice and provides an opportunity for students to learn together about working in homelessness services.
