Give the Gift of Choice this Christmas

Statement graphic: Give the 'Gift of Choice' this Christmas

While people’s experiences of homelessness are different, at its core, being homeless is about absence. Especially an absence of choice.

What is a Gift of Choice?

Over the festive season, some of the most vulnerable people in the community will visit Sacred Heart Mission to receive a hearty meal. With your help, they will also receive an important gift – the Gift of Choice.

Every year Sacred Heart Mission appeals for donations of $20 supermarket gift cards for people in need over the festive season.

Your Gift of Choice will empower people and help to improve their self-esteem, enabling them the dignity to choose what they want. A simple gesture providing much more than just a gift.

How can I give the Gift of Choice?

This year, instead of purchasing a gift, please give someone the Gift of Choice.

Donate below, or deliver your gift cards by Wednesday, 15 December.

  1. Your donation using the form below will enable us to purchase $20 supermarket gift cards for people in time for Christmas.

  2. Or you can add a $20 Coles or Woolworths gift card to your next supermarket shop, or coordinate a group collection through your network. Then simply contact the Fundraising Team: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to organise delivery.

Thank you for your generosity.
