Saturday BBQ Volunteer

Sacred Heart Mission is a local Melbourne charity focused on elevating disadvantage, social exclusion, and homelessness. Volunteering as part of our BBQ team in our Aged Care facility can make all the difference to our clients. It is a fun way to engage with the residents living in our facility and getting to know them. Our volunteer team on Saturdays goes above and beyond to make this event a special occasion for anyone who joins in.

Location:

Robe St, St Kilda

Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook and serve the BBQ lunch for a group of residents while also engaging those more isolated.

Commitment:

Saturdays lunch time. The exact roster will be planned every couple of months in advance.

11.30am-1pm

Other:

We are looking for reliable volunteers who can commit for at least 1 year. The roster is pretty flexible and will be planned in advance as we need two volunteers on each shift to run the BBQ.

To apply:

As part of the application process we will ask you to agree to a confidentiality agreement, Code of Conduct and be willing to undergo a police check.

If your interested to learn more about the Mission prior to applying please come to one of our informative volunteer sessions. You can register for the sessions online through our website.
