Our Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) program is an evidenced based intervention designed to break the cycle of chronic homelessness. We’ve recently started Phase 3 of this ground breaking initiative and you’ll have a direct hand in its success. Join a team of experienced staff with diverse professional backgrounds.

Your new role

Working part-time, you will support our clients in reaching their employment goals. You will work intensively with a small caseload of clients and tailor employment pathways strategies to each individual. This role is vital in building capacity within the team to support clients to progress their greater economic participation goals. We are looking for dynamic and motivated team player who has:

Your day-to-day

While every day is different, a typical day might see you on outreach supporting a participant in a job search, developing resumes and application materials or coordinating services with employment providers. You will be liaising with a multitude of connections to develop pathways for J2SI participants to enter the workforce. This may involve looking for paid employment, voluntary work and/or training.

You may also be:

  • Developing skill-based group and individual interventions for participants that promote economic participation and workforce participation readiness
  • Developing economic participation goals for participants in conjunction with the wider team
  • Facilitating workshops with your team, building their capacity to reduce barriers to employment for our participants
