Here’s a map of our preferred collection area. For larger quantities outside this area, please feel free to call us to check our availability.
What we collect
Your generous donation will help us to support people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage – and we thank you for choosing to support Sacred Heart Mission.
Please be aware that items may have to be refused based on the condition and sale-ability of goods as well as compliance with Victorian Consumer Affairs, OH&S and other relevant regulations.
Something to remember
If in doubt about donating an item to one of our op shops, ask yourself “Would I buy that?” If the answer is no, then please bin or recycle it, as unsaleable rubbish is a problem for us and an unnecessary expense.
Items we do not collect:
- Broken, damaged, stained, dirty or unsaleable items and furniture
- Mattresses
- Analog television cabinets /dated entertainment cabinets
- Baby cots, car seats, nursery furniture
- Analog TVs and TV units
- Large desks
- Text books, encyclopedias
- Printers, scanners, old computers
- Curtains, blinds, coat hangers
- Small quantities of clothes, books or household items
- Large quantities of office furniture
